What is Bungee Fitness?

Bungee Fitness is a full-body workout performed while wearing a secure harness attached to a ceiling-mounted bungee system. This class is for ages 18+

The bungee cord supports part of your body weight, allowing you to:

  • Jump higher

  • Move faster

  • Do cardio with less joint stress

  • Perform strength movements with assistance

  • Feel like you’re flying

It combines cardio, resistance training, balance work, and choreography into one high-energy session.

Think:
Low-impact cardio meets resistance training… with a playful, airborne twist.

Your First Bungee Fitness Class

What to Expect

If it’s your first time, here’s how it works:

  1. You’ll start with our Intro to Bungee camp

  2. You will be fitted into a secure, padded harness

  3. Your instructor will adjust your resistance

  4. You’ll learn basic movements and safety cues

  5. Class begins with a warm-up & the fun starts!

Classes typically include:

  • Cardio intervals

  • Resistance-based movements

  • Jump training

  • Core work

  • Cool down + stretch

Expect to sweat, laugh, and feel muscles you forgot existed.

How to Register

  1. Head over to our Registration platform and click “Bungee Fitness” to Register for our Intro to Bungee Camp. This is the required prerequisite to our weekly classes.

  2. After you have completed the Intro class, you will go back into your account and select your desired session for additional classes.

    NOTE: These classes fill up quickly! If classes are full, click here to request a spot on our waitlist.

    Each Bungee class is ran in sessions. One session is typically 12 weeks/ 3 months. Once you begin your session, you’ll be billed monthly until your session ends.

    Intro to Bungee Class: $40

    Bungee Session: $135/month before taxes + $50 annual registration fee.

    At The Academy of Acrobatic Sports, we specialize in small-group coaching and structured programs, and Bungee Fitness brings something completely new to our community.

    If you live in: Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, West Richland, or the surrounding areas, this is your chance to experience the workout you’ve seen trending online — without driving to Seattle or Portland.

  • No. The system assists your movement. You’ll build strength and conditioning as you go.

  • Comfortable athletic clothing that stays in place. Leggings or fitted athletic pants work best.

  • Yes. The weight limit is 250 pounds.

  • It can be part of a weight loss program. It burns calories while building muscle and improving conditioning.

  • Depending on intensity, many participants burn between 300–600 calories per session.

    (That’s about an hour on a treadmill… which is snoozeville, USA).

  • Weekly is ideal!

    This is best to build healthy habits and keep your body moving.

    This is such low impact, that it can be done in combination with any other workout or activity. This won’t leave you “beat up”. You’ll easily be able to work, hike, or do any other activities you enjoy.
